A charming vintage cameo brooch featuring a refined lady in profile. Stamped on the pin hardware: WESTERN GERMANY — a mark used exclusively between 1949 and 1990. Cameo material: appears to be resin or molded composition Frame: Gold-tone beaded Clasp: Top-hinged pin with roll-over C-clasp, fully functional Approximate size: ~2 oval Condition: Good vintage condition. The cameo portrait is crisp and intact. The gold-tone plating shows wear around the edges of the beaded frame, normal age-related wear. Front display appearance is lovely. A wearable and collectible piece of mid-century German costume jewelry. Beautiful pinned to a lapel, cardigan, etc.
